G-d sent children for another purpose than merely to keep up the race ~ to enlarge our hearts; and to make us unselfish and full of kindly sympathies and affections; to give our souls higher aims; to call out all our faculties to extended enterprise and exertion; and to sing round our firesides bright faces, happy smiles and loving, tender hearts.

I’ve just had my Friday lunchtime chat with Jonathan (we telephone, messenger, and email all week, but this is a regular slot) and, as the doting grandma, I remarked, “Nu, no pictures?” Son replies, “we haven’t had time, Bridgitte’s in the shower and I’m cooking.” To which doting grandma replies, “well as soon as she gets out the shower…..” Of course doting grandma did not add that she had no great pearls of wisdom for her Friday slot, otherwise they may not have been so obliging.
I just so wanted to post pictures of my leading man, the little guy who has captured my heart.
Which reminds me; I have not heard from my other baby…. the globetrotting, backpacking daughter. Can’t begin to imagine what she’s up to! Well the fact that she’s in New Zealand, known for its bungee jumping, I expect I’ll get a call after the event….. like everything else she has done so far.
Well, another week gone. Have a brilliant, happy and peaceful weekend everyone and for my Jewish friends, Shabbat Shalom.

I love looking at Boaz’s pics. The first thing that came to mind as I looked over these are ‘perfect childhood innocence’. What a treasure he is!
