Waiting

Do you hear them calling
Do you hear it too
The sound of my name on the wind
Beckoning daring urging me to
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
What stops you dear, what holds you back
What keeps you hanging on
Don’t you have the guts to do it
Don’t be weak, be strong
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
Pop a pill; blow out your brains
Slash your wrists, here take this knife
Why you do hide them when
You know you’ve had enough of life
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
You’ll never get used to the loneliness
Day after day after day
So why stick around, go on do it
No one will miss you anyway
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
Why are you still here
Without a man’s love true
Heed the beating of the drums
The wind beckoning daring urging you
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
Oh they do beckon dare and urge me
And the temptation is sorely great
And every word they say is true
So why am I afraid
The roll of the drums beating beating
We’re waiting here for you
Today is not just any day
Today’s another year
My desire was to fade away
But see, I am still here
The roll of the drum beating beating
We’re not waiting here for you

Ann, I hope you do not feel like this. It’s so graphic, and alarming.

Val, at the time of writing I did feel very much that way and I actually posted it today through tears
lotsa luv ann xxxxx

Ann: You can feel it, but just don’t believe it. It is hard sifting through emotions at times, but the world would be a darker place without you.
lotsa luv to you xox G

…this goes through the bone Ann.
Read it twice and (hope you don’t mind) printed it.

Also, I find it funny that theres recently been a number of articles about our water shortage, but were assured here that the street sweeper is using ample water. Sad.
