Nowhere

Posted on: 8 November 2006

From nowhere
Like a ton of bricks
It hits
Out of the blue
Insidious
Unaware
It only takes
One mad minute
Unforeseen
To swing
From pleasure
To pain
From joy
To sorrow
Round and round
And round
They go
Unfounded fears
Ceaseless tears
Bells ringing
Time’s up
Chaotic thoughts
Ride
The slide
To nowhere

very well-written. I see tears and smiles as twins that constantly follow each other. None r permanent.
