Never
In my wildest dreams
Not again
Dreamt it could happen
Tried to keep my distance
Drawn in by your cunning
Like a magnet
To your charm
Your sweet words
Beguiled me
You’re safe here
Enveloped in my arms
Take my hand
As one we’ll be
Shall part your lips
Breathe life into your soul
Rekindle dying passion
Look
Open your eyes
See through mine
I love you
My heart you stole
You have to believe
Learn to trust
Me
Believe I did
Gave you my all
But
Those honeyed words
You then whispered
To another
In my wake
So I ask you this
How do you determine
Who you discard
And whom you take
