Look closely
Scrutinize
Analyse
Examine
Explore
Every single flaw
No redeeming feature
Not in any light
No quality to delight
Devoid of worth
No merit
Charm
Appeal
Hopeless to conceal
Own revulsion
Disgust
Distaste
Waste of space
Close up
Face to face
Reflection of
Contempt
Disgrace
Mirror image
Found defective
Thoroughly dejected
Naturally rejected
Again

Oh Brian, my love, it wasn’t about that… as usual I have probably written it wrong

As usual I have probably commented wrong. π
I just think that all these harsh words are perhaps unworthy of you, that our friendship, and others are worth more than all these negative emotions.

I think these words are true of me… it’s what I see
you’ve never met me; when you do…. well then maybe you’ll believe me

Not a chance sweetie. π

Oh Brian

Ann!
LOVE YOU!
such harsh tones for what you see in the mirror! What reflects is only an image. That image is soft, tender, shy and inquisitive. What’s inside, much beyond the image, is what we “see” from afar. So much more and so lively! You’ve shown yourself to us with depth, soul & truth. Things friendships require to grow.
Put down the mirror and let us show you what we “see” in you, my friend. It is a beautiful thing. You are marvelous.
Much love & hugs! D π

oh Diane… now you’ve got me crying .. boo hoo

{{{Ann}}}
I have never met you either, but I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that you look, feel, or are in any way harsh… and you definitely have many redeeming features – not that you need them as far as I am concerned.
Bless you and Love you…

you’re a good girl, thank you

Hi Ann!!!!!!!
I must put my two pence in. There is no way that a girl that is my sistah could ever be any of these things. You have loved me from the first and embraced my rounded assets.;)
So, when we meet, there will be good times had by all. Well, I can’t speak for the bunny.
Writing along at breakneck speed and I have a funny poem for PT. Hope you have time to call this weekend, I miss your lovely voice. π

thank you… sassy as always :>)

hmmmm. clearly later to the party here – everyone’s already said what I think and feel and probably better.
All that being said, whether you think this or don’t think this about yourself, it’s a marvelous bit of verse, grabs you and holds you start to finish.
Tom

ANN!! Which blog is your main blog?
I have a hard enough time with one!
( btw….great stuff )
You Rock….G-Man xox

Been reading my mail? lol

I think we can be our own worst critics … wouldn’t it be amazing if we were able to show the same love and acceptance to ourselves as we do to those we love? Much peace to you sweet Ann, JP

Embrace the good things that make it worth the friendship. π
