Castaway

Posted on: 7 May 2007

Jettisoned, thrown overboard
Abandoned, cast aside
Excess baggage drifting with the tide
Flotsam jetsam float aimlessly
No bearings, no design
Disorientated, lost, all at sea
Washed up remains, shattered debris
Beached aground, left high and dry
Shingle a bed, a mantle the sky
Lain waste wreckage in disarray
Cut off from the outside world
Forevermore, forsaken, castaway

Beautiful Ann. Beautiful but also sad.

Lov what you do with words!

A feeling I have shared so much this past year. Well said.

Tom

Such despair on your words, my friend. Wonderful depth and sense of loss. Tender, almost. D 🙂

Ann…that came awfully close to being a flash 55!…You are a wizard with words…Galen xox
