I Many Times Thought: Emily Dickinson

Posted on: 12 May 2007

I many times thought peace had come
When peace was far away,
As wrecked men deem they sight the land
When far at sea they stay.

And struggle slacker, but to prove,
As hopelessly as I,
That many the fictitious shores
Before the harbor lie

In a supposed flash of inspiration I decided to label Vincent and his characters and the creators of the words I use. I thought Robert E Howard would lead the way, but in fact it’s Vincent himself, closely followed by REH and then Bobby. No surprises there I guess. Amazingly Elton wasn’t featured; his character wasn’t an easy one to match.

I tend to label Vincent ‘baby’, in the strongest, sexiest, cuddliest warmest, sense of the word;0) Lovely post Ann.

passing through

🙂 Thanks for this one.

I have a feeling you like Vincent D’Onofrio. Man that was tough to spell.

Hi Cathy!! There’s Cathy up there. She’s way cool.
