Music, When Soft Voices Die: Percy Shelley

Posted on: 31 August 2007

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory.
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heap’d for the beloved’s bed;
And so thy thoughts when thou are gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

One of my favourite poems, by my favourite poet, with pictures of my favourite actor. Perfect or what?

He broke my heart in this – AGAIN! Wonderful words to go with wonderful pictures.

Re previous post and poem : was that the poem quoted in Truly, Madly , Deeply

This one I know – is the film Desire?

I think we have a lot incommon. I am a dreamer and hopeless romantic as well. Apparently, we like the same actor (I am a fan of Law in Order). I am a dreamer who is beginning to realize that dreams are something rare in this dark world; but God’s light shines brightly. Please come back to visit soon!
