I Miss Him
Posted 11 October 2006
on:Sleep eludes me
Whisper his name
Nothing
What to do
Need to think
Drown my sorrows in a drink
Gauloise lit
Savour him
On my lips
Spray body
His cologne
Taste him
On my skin
Alone
Legs entwine around his pillow
Smell of him
Lingers deep
Forget
His hand
Do seek
Pace and wait
Moon down
Sun up
Dreams gone
Cold light of day
Dogs bay
Then
Breath on my neck
Hand on my breast
Passion pressed
Against me
Melt beneath his touch
“Did you miss me?
Show me how much”
